I’m so happy to have had the chance to spend a few days with 50 other professional child photographers recently at the 2015 National Association of Child Photographers’ (NAPCP) Retreat in Whistler, British Columbia. The biggest advantage to this kind of photography conference is meeting other people in my industry to share and learn from each other. After being in business for 8+ years, I am always looking for new motivation and inspiration to keep growing as an artist. It was my first time in Canada! Whistler was really beautiful and not the frigidly cold place we were all expecting. We saw huge pillowy snowflakes our first day there and Tubing was a special treat (I’m giving up skiing…sorry). On to some highlight photos from my trip. Except for a few iPhone 6 images, all were taken with my small Fuji X100T. The traveling was rough and it was easier to not have my big camera especially since it wasn’t a photography conference focused on shooting.
Past NAPCP Retreats: Napa, Vail, Charleston
We stayed at The Nita Lake Lodge right next to this frozen lake and it was truly beautiful.
I love these Lisa!! You did a great job of capturing an amazing retreat :0)
