Valentine Ideas for Children
Valentine’s Day is almost here! I have pulled together some ideas and favorite things to share. I hope you get some inspiration on cute Valentine gifts and activities. Or just have fun looking!
Starting out, The Modern Roost has Valentine decorating ideas and also Four Free Downloads to make your own cards for you or your children. (Picture Left)
“Be Loved” and pink and purple flower heart are both iron-on transfers available for download at www.napcp.com (National Association of Child Photographers). Both are FREE and have instructions on how to make this DIY craft yourself. I would love to see matching sisters in this! (Picture Below)
These free downloadable cards are adorable. You can find them HERE along with TWO other cute freebie Valentine Cards. (Picture Left)
Try using any of the downloads you see as Gift Tags instead of traditional cards. Short on Ink Cartridges? Email a love note!
For a very quick gift, choose these free Valentine Love coupon bundles you can print yourself. They are found at the Elli Blog. (Picture Below)
Minted Art Prints (Pictures Left) are wall prints in various sizes. I can’t add them to my storefront of favorites with Minted but you can search “art prints” and see lots of cool things with framing options and wall gallery samples. I especially love the gold foil Georgia print. I think giving something with one of the city maps or states can be special and meaningful for a loved one as well as beautiful for your wall. On my front page Minted storefront, see my favorite classroom cards perfect for children to hand out to friends. You can go through all of these and see some ideas for attachments on your own cards (pencils, lollipops, cookies, candy, etc.). Also take a look at the “stickers” section for cute things that can be used year round.

Now on to the good stuff. Valentine’s Day is on a Saturday this year so a special breakfast is a must. The Chef Mom has some cute ideas to try. I think even I can attempt the cinnamon rolls (pre-packaged, of course).
Shari’s Berries is one of my favorites to receive. Chocolate covered strawberries are always good and you can get a package delivered for less than a bouquet of flowers will cost you. Beware, you might have to share with your kids or at least fight them off.
I hope you found some fun Valentine inspiration and aren’t too hungry now! Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you get to spend the day with the people you love most.
Celebrate Your Valentine!
Time Hop back to a previous Valentine’s Day post with more cute free downloads for your kids here. And my Instagram of the Shari’s Berries I received here.
