Check out the deadlines for Kotori Jewelry if you need a gift for Mother’s Day.  If you are interested and have not had a recent session with me, contact me asap to see if  I can fit in one more before this deadline (I’m a sucker for Mother’s Day).  The best part is it is on sale!  These pieces are such great quality and are waterproof and UV resistant.  The copper drop chain is really popular right now – I wear mine all the time.

Click the Kotori Catalog link below to see previews of the fashion jewelry.  Let me know if you are more interested in sterling silver and I can provide that as well.

Whatever you do, don’t forget Mom (or Grandmom)!

Easter revisited!  I am still eating chocolate Easter Candy so I might as well post these pictures a little late.  All 3 of my children had Spring Break the week before and we ended up with a great Easter Weekend.  We were a bit lazy on Sunday after church and I can say that I am so glad someone named Bubba won The Masters!

And now back to business… Some pictures of Organic Bloom frames.  I get asked about these a lot so I like to share pictures online when I can.  They are much more beautiful in person if you want to stop by and see the quality of them.  I love mixing two frame shapes in wall galleries.  This is the color Espresso (dark brown and very popular).

Don’t forget the rounds or that there are many custom colors to choose from.  Most of the ones here you see do not have a glaze and show more of the wood through the paint for a great distressed look.  The small one on the bottom right shows a glaze in brown which is very gorgeous on the lighter colored frames.

I have some other frame styles I will be offering this year for my more traditional client homes so stay tuned!  My goal is to provide framed portraits for clients when possible so they can easily hang on their walls and enjoy right away.  I can guide you and make it really easy as I know it can be overwhelming with so many choices.

TThis is my little love making a kissy face for you.  The best part of this picture is that I can see the Hello Kitty necklace she got for Christmas and wears almost every day (sometimes a Dora necklace will be substituted).  The necklace is held together by a very thin piece of elastic and it is only a matter of time before it breaks and is in a lot of pieces.  We will both be sad.  I never want to forget this time of life when Hello Kitty was such an important accessory in our lives.  🙂

I have never considered myself much of a Valentine person but I always help with the preschool Valentine parties.  I don’t know why except that it is a slower time of year and I probably need another excuse to eat chocolate.  One of the moms had a great idea to take these kissy face pictures for frames the kids would decorate.  I thought they turned out cute and it was fun to see which kids could and could not make a kissy face.  Apparently it isn’t that easy!  Here is a favorite:

And lastly, I leave you with a picture courtesy of my iphone of the lovely chocolate covered strawberries my husband sent me on the 13th.  We like to beat the crowd and celebrate early…always have.  A man who never remembers anything including what I said yesterday, but somehow remembers that I said I hate Valentine’s Day in 1997 sent these and I was thrilled.  The best  thing is that it recommended that they be eaten in 48 hours for freshness so I get to pig out and not be questioned on why they were gone so fast.  I don’t share chocolate (but I will give him ONE white one).  There are more than the 6 you see here but I won’t admit how many.  OINK!

Happy New Year!  I am back from vacation and this is where I have been for a few days.  Not a bad vacation picture – courtesy of my new iphone 4.

I am going to have to resort to a Wordless Wednesday…there are just no words.  🙂

I am adjusting back to the real world and excited about the new year.  I’ll have more words soon…

Hello

and

Goodbye

Little Eva did not stay in her shell and hide this day.  She came out to play and like most all of the 20 month olds I see, ran and ran and ran.  I know toddlers at this age are going to run as far as they can and never look back.  Too many places to go and things to see (and not to mention the energy!).  I had to laugh with her outfit changes when her Mom had to chase her down naked and wrestle to get clothes on her.  What a joy she is!  I bet there is a lot of laughter in her home and, of course, a great workout trying to keep up with her!

I’m especially happy for people when they have little children in their homes at Christmas time.  Everything seems a little more fun and exciting.

Merry Christmas!

I decided I would put Client’s Christmas Gifts right on my own Christmas Tree until their orders were picked up.  No reason I can’t enjoy sweet little faces looking at me every day! I would love to have a Christmas Tree full of Organic Bloom frames.  I always have an 11 foot tree so that may take some planning!  I may have to look into an ornament stand and add to it throughout the year.  These little frames will be hard to part with for me!

This is a new item at Trader Joes that I came across recently.  I thought Cocoa Almond Spread might be rich with a dark chocolate taste.  I was surprised when it tasted just like chocolate icing – very sweet.  I put it on a rice cake and gave some to my little girl and she thought she was getting a really special treat (she was).  It is better than a cookie, right?

Merry Christmas!
